📇 Cards Dive Deeper ☝

LinesShines reveals how shiny an elite OL/DL truly is.
Every team logo on the chart is a real player — click any one to open their full player card.
Each player card carries these traits:
- Color Coder — let colors bring you first impressions on👇
- Rank — where this player stands among all filtered peers at same position.
- Percentile — how far above/below this player is from majority.
- Embedded Card — yes, it links to another card called linemates card ↓
- Player’s linemates are his performance context. Only when context reveals will stats be truly meaningful.
Inside linemates card, you can sort any metrics columns. All cards have a download button to export PNGs.

Treat them like browser pages — drag, expand, shrink, fold, unfold, close.
P.S. player card embedded with linemates card is inspired by GitHub commit and associated pull request.
🎯Union Spotlights — Teams & Players 🏹

Very often you only want to know your team, or a specific player.
Awesome~~~here is a spotlight system focusing on a player if any of the following satisfies:
- His team is selected: you care about his team so he must show up.
- His name is selected: you care about him personally.
Those not selected by you at all politely turn dim, but still visible and clickable to reveal cards.
So all highlights go purely onto team(s) and player(s) you’ve grabbed 💡
🧠️Smart Name Search 🔍

Don’t worry about if you can’t remember a player’s exact name👌
LinesShines has fuzzy search: typing “ski” brings you “Peter Skoronski” as recommendation🤓
Even suffix match is supported: “Trey Pipkins III” shows up when “II” is typed👀
📍️Pin For Comparison ✵

LinesShines is a world for comparison: merge several players’ stats into one single card.
In this way, you can easily view multiple players at once 💪
Entire pinned players area let you search, add, open card, and remove any players you want.
😺Rank & Percentile Aren’t Statues 🤸🏻

Anytime you adjust the snaps threshold bar, rank & percentile automatically recalculate to follow closely and immediately.
Rank & percentile reflect the pool you’re now looking at. Not an unchanged global leaderboard.
📈 HIT: Heroes In Trenches
Perhaps you wonder why I have the mood to hit this platform:
Fantasy Football causes me to explore NFL players not mentioned in Fantasy rosters.
Being a code builder brings the mindset of how essential infrastructures are.
Their inevitable intersection is, of course, offensive & defensive lines: so-called trenches.
✈️ Steps Forward
In Chinese, highlights are called “風光 (feng guang)”, and lines are called “鋒 (feng)”.
With “風” and “鋒” sharing the exact same pronunciation, replace “風” with “鋒” gives “鋒光”, meaning highlights of lines.
In English, lines & shines rhyme, so why not 😎
I think these are why I created LinesShines on top of my past local NFL plots era.
